Brussels is a very well kept secret. It is much more than just the Grand Place, a packet of "frites", or a plate of mussels in one of the cosy restaurants in the rue des Bouchers.

Brussels is a very pleasant place to live, with lots of wooded parks that make it very green. Indeed, it is second after Washington in the hit parade of green cities (4000 ha of parks and woodland, a quarter of the city area) with 40 m² of chlorophyll per inhabitant, while in Paris they each have only 1.5 m²! |
You do not come to Brussels for its sunshine except for the kind you find inside yourself - by practising Yoga at the Institute! Winters tend to be mild and wet, the spring is sometimes very pleasant, and there can be heat waves in the summer. But it rains at least 200 days a year, so bring a raincoat or an umbrella.
As Brussels thinks of itself as the capital of Europe, it is very well connected:
By train:
o Paris - 1h25 from Paris (Gare du Nord) to Brussels (Gare du Midi), Thalys www.thalys.com
o Londres- Eurostar www.eurostar.com
By plane
Zaventem Airport is 14 km NORTH-EAST of the city.
You will find at the Institute of Yoga:
You can sleep at the institute, there are mattresses at your disposal, but envisage your cloths and pillowcase. There is a mini-kitchen where you can prepare your meals if you to wish it. Arrival possible day before for the people having prevented. The expenses of participation are of: 5 € /day.
There are several restaurants close to the institute of Yoga and also:
