We all know our “sign” according to Western astrology. Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius, etc. These are the seasonal signs corresponding to the position of the Sun on the day of our birth.

The Sun spends a month in each sign since it passes through all twelve in the course of a year. The changeover date is around the 21st of each month, so by knowing your date of your birth you know your sign.

Things are not quite as simple in Indian astrology

From Chennaï airport :

A taxi from outside the airport will cost 1000 rupees.
In the daytime, there is a very occasional bus service via Madras to Mahäbalipuram: n° 108 B.

Money :

I suggest you bring either Traveller’s Cheques or cash in euro. You can change money
at the airport (State Bank of India) where you well get a better rate than Mahabalipuram. Ask the cashier for an “Encashment Certificate” so that you can change rupees when you leave.

Credit card (American Express train, Visa, Eurocard... only in the large cities and the broad hotels. Possible in Mahabalipuram.
